Ph.D. Candidate of Environmental Science and Engineering and Atmospheric Physics at the University of Texas at El Paso

Originally from Santiago, Chile, I received a B.S.Physics from Utah Valley University, with research in Variable Stars in the Kepler’s Field. I received an M.S. in Physics from the University of Texas at El Paso with research and a Thesis on Gravitational Waves Research at TOROS UTRGV.

Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas at El Paso Environmental Science and Engineering Ph.D. Program,  working under Dr. Rosa Fitzgerald in the characterization of black and brown carbon on the El Paso-Ciudad Juarez Airshed. I am passionate about atmospheric physics and how all the work and studies I do will benefit humanity in its quest to find and define safe and equitable environmental practices.
